For whatever reason, I'm glad you are here & excited to help!

I'm a big advocate of using humane training methods such as food, play & real-life rewards.
My "niche" is working with dogs who are leash reactive, muzzle training, puppies & helping pet guardians navigate adolescents!
I love making training fun, less frustrating, and building a clear communication with dogs.

Fun Facts about me:
I spent time as an Environmental Educator at a Wetland, volunteered at both Zoo Atlanta & Ga Aquarium,
LOVE rain walks with my dogs and enjoy meditating in nature.

Education:
My training journey began in 2018!
I’ve continued my education ever since — not only to become a better trainer for my clients, but also a more informed and compassionate guardian for my own dogs.
I’m currently a student at CATCH Trainers Academy and nearing my final exams to become a Certified Dog Trainer.
I’m also an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator and
hold several other certifications, with plans to keep growing my knowledge and skill set!

Trainer

I’m a certified trainer through Karen Pryor Academy. I have spent the last 7 years working in various dog boarding facilities caring for dogs and cats. I have one dog and two cats. My dog Ruger is a Great Dane, English mastiff mix who is dog reactive and sparked my interest in training. Even though working through his reactivity was stressful at times it was incredibly fulfilling and created such a special bond between us.
I'm excited to help other dog owners navigate life with their bestie!
Fun Facts about me:
I have my BA in psychology and planned to get my master's in occupational therapy but fell in love with dogs in the process. I’m from northern Illinois & love snow skiing when I visit there.
