Meet the Owner/Trainer
Hii, I'm Miranda!
You must be here because you are feeling a bit overwhelmed, lost or you want to simply have fun when training with your dog.
For whatever reason, I'm glad you are here & excited to help!

I'm a big advocate of using humane training methods such as food, play & real-life rewards.
My "niche" is working with dogs who are leash reactive, muzzle training, puppies & helping pet guardians navigate adolescents!
I love making training fun, less frustrating, and building a clear communication with dogs.

Fun Facts about me:
I spent time as an Environmental Educator at a Wetland, volunteered at both Zoo Atlanta & Ga Aquarium,
LOVE rain walks with my dogs and enjoy meditating in nature.

Education:
I've been training for nearly 6 years now.
I am constantly continuing my education to be a better pet guardian for my dogs as well as a better trainer for my clients.
I am a student at CATCH Trainers Academy nearing my last few exams that will make me a Certified dog trainer.
I am a CGC evaluator through the AKC and have many other certs and plan to continue to add to them!
(If you didn't know the dog training industry is not a regulated one, so any person can call themselves a trainer.)
What to except:
Tailored Training plans for all services.
Access to me through texts during working hours.
Building a clear communication with your dog.
Homework/Exercises.
Having fun and laughing!
We will NOT use prong, shock, e-collars or corrections when working with me.
If you're ready to start training with me, submit a form on the contact page!

Trainer
Hi, my name is Rachel!
I’m a certified trainer through Karen Pryor Academy. I have spent the last 7 years working in various dog boarding facilities caring for dogs and cats. I have one dog and two cats. My dog is a Great Dane, english mastiff mix who is dog reactive and sparked my interest in training. Even though working through his reactivity was stressful at times it was incredibly fulfilling and created such a special bond between us.
Fun Facts about me:
I have my BA in psychology and planned to get my master's in occupational therapy but fell in love with dogs in the process. I’m from northern Illinois & love snow skiing when I visit there.

What to except:
An individualized plan to set your dog up for success.
